Accounting, Payroll & HR Software from IRIS : System requirements

The following table is the recommended minimum PC requirements for using IRIS Accounts Office.

Server or dedicated PC	Computer & Processor	PC with a 1GHz or faster processor recommended
	Memory	256MB of RAM required; 512MB or more recommended
	Display	VGA or hardware that supports console redirection required; Super VGA supporting 800x600 or higher-resolution monitor recommended
	Hard Disk	1.25 to 2GB of available hard disk space required
	Optical Drive	CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
Workstation	Computer & Processor	PC with a 550MHz or faster processor recommended
	Memory	128MB of RAM required; 256MB or more recommended
	Display	Super VGA supporting 800x600 or higher resolution monitor recommended
	Hard Drive	500MB of available hard disk space required
	Optical Drive	CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive
Operating System		Windows 2000 SP4, Windows Server 2003 SP1 or Windows XP Pro SP2 IRIS Accounts Office cannot be installed into a Terminal Services or Citrix Thin-Client environment
Miscellaneous		Microsoft Excel 97 or above
Windows Update		We recommend that, following installation of IRIS Accounts Office, you use the Windows Update procedure to check whether there are updates available for any of the installed components. Depending on your computer setup, this may be an automatic process. You can also start this procedure manually from Windows. If you are not sure how to do this, open your Internet browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) and go to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/
