To adjust your printer margins, you should first select the
report that you wish to print.
In this documented example, we will be referring to
Payslips
[Laser/Inkjet].
In the subsequent dialog box, press the 'margins'
button.
You can now enter your user-defined margins by entering
figures, in inches, in the 'top' and 'left' margin fields. The
higher the number, the bigger the margin will be. In the
example shown here, it can be seen that the top margin, when the
report is printed, will print 0.35 inches from the top of your
page, whilst the left margin will print 0.06 inches from the left
edge.
It is worthwhile remembering that all printers are different,
and the margin settings shown here have been entered to suit a
certain printer. It is likely that different settings will
need to be entered to suit your particular printer. Equally,
by ticking the 'Use Default Margins' checkbox, you may find that
IRIS PAYE-Master’s own, built-in margins could be suitable.
When you have pressed OK on the above Margin Adjustment dialog
box, you can print the report using your user-defined margin
settings:
