The Pay Period Setup Wizard is used to automatically forecast
the correct Pay Date for your pay frequency/ frequencies for the
entire tax year – avoiding the need to select the Run Date each
time you wish to process your payroll.
If you operate a bureau licence, the Pay Dates (Run Dates) you
have selected will be automatically remembered from
client-to-client, so you can be confident in the knowledge that
IRIS PAYE-Master is using the Pay Dates that you have already
predetermined for each individual client.
Once the Pay Period Setup Wizard has been processed, IRIS
PAYE-Master now knows exactly which periods still need to be
processed, which periods still need to be finalised, and of equal
importance, what your Pay Dates will be for the entire tax
year.
Any Pay Dates that you have programmed, which have not been
finalised, can easily be adjusted throughout the course of the year
by opening the Pay Period Wizard via the Utilities menu.
Select Utilities > Pay Calendar Wizard.
This will display a welcome screen to introduce the
wizard.
Click Next.
