names less than or equal to 128 characters in length. The
error message may indicate that the location of the backup you are
trying to create is too deep within your folder
structure.
Consider shortening the path and/or file name to rectify this
problem. Rest assured that, in this situation, IRIS
PAYE-Master will work around this error, and attempt to create your
backup. You should manually check to confirm that the backup
has been created choosing 'My Computer' then 'Windows
Explorer'.
Error message mentions 'Insufficient Disk Space'
You are attempting to save a backup file to media having
insufficient disk space.
- Consider using 'Utilities', 'Database Maintenance' then
'Compact and Repair', in addition to utilising the features
available to compress your backup file (Windows 2000/Windows XP
only) at the point of creating your backup
- Consider backing up to new/alternative media – possibly your
hard disk for transferring to other removable media at a later
date/time
Error message mentions, 'Disk I/O error'
This error message generally indicates a problem with the
hardware. You should close IRIS PAYE-Master, restart your PC,
and try again. If the problem persists, you should try using
another disk.
Error message confirms that restore is unsuccessful (e.g.
restore aborted ….., unable to ….., etc.)
