When you submit a test submission within IRIS PAYE-Master, HMRC
will treat this in the same way as a "live" submission.
This means that you will receive an email from HMRC that is
identical to the email that you
receive when you make a "live" submission.
This can cause confusion amongst Employers, especially when
emails are delayed. We have reported this to HMRC who are
aware of this issue. HMRC are currently unable to change the
email response for a test submission but will consider making
changes in the future.
