How do I delete an Employee from IRIS
PAYE-Master?
IMPORTANT: This procedure should be used for
Employees who have been set up in error or to remove the default
Employee. It must not be used
to delete any leavers that you have had during the 2007/08 tax
year. Any leavers will automatically be deleted when you clear the
Year-End totals.
Please note that this will also remove Employees from IRIS HR
Manager and IRIS PAYE-Master
if the data is shared between both programs. If you are
unsure, before proceeding please telephone Support on 0844 815 5661
for further assistance.
To delete employees from IRIS PAYE-Master, please follow these
steps:
- Ensure you have a backup of your data file
- Click on the Utilities menu and select
Delete Employee
- Select Yes to continue to the selection screen
or No to cancel
- You will be given a list of all your employee records to choose
from
- Select the required employee from the list and click
OK
- The system will the check to see if the employee is locked in
IRIS HR Manager. If the employee record is locked you will be given
a message
- If the employee record is not locked in IRIS HR Manager you
will be given a warning message
- Select No to the close the Utility or
Yes to proceed with the deletion
- When the employee deletion is finished, you will be informed
that the employee has been completely removed from the system.
