In December 2006, Microsoft formally announced the
launch of its new Vista operating system, with plans for roll-out
from the end of January 2007.
Vista was available on new PC’s purchased from 30 January
but we do not expect many customers to move to Vista until the
latter half of 2007.
As a Microsoft
Gold Certified Partner, we at IRIS are committed to assisting
you to achieve the transition from XP (or older operating systems)
to Microsoft Vista when you are ready to make the move.
However we recognise that the launch also co-incides with the
busiest time of year for many customers (self-assessment/ payroll
year end). So we have decided to phase the introduction of
Microsoft Vista compatibility into IRIS software over a period of
some months to enable us to make this transition easier for
you.
This means that our products are planned to run on Microsoft
Vista (through the Microsoft accredited "Works with Vista" partner
scheme) from the dates set out below and not before.
The dates are:
IRIS PAYE-Master, IRIS HR Manager,
IRIS P11D, EARNIE IQ |
End of August 2007 |
| IRIS Payroll Professional, EARNIE |
End of July 2007 |
| IRIS Bookkeeping |
End of September 2007 |
| IRIS Accounts Office |
End of June 2008 |
Exchequer V6.0 update,
IRIS Accounts Office Online |
End of June 2007 |
| IRIS Practice Suite v8.8 |
End of April 2007 |
For PTP we do not yet have dates as not all analysis has been
completed.
If you have any queries or concerns about Microsoft Vista please
